Under the hood of KLIMPA the director duo Robert Löbel and Max Mörtl create bizarre and enthralling stories with a good dose of humor. In the world of KLIMPA, characters re-invent themselves over and over again, appearing in a variety of shapes and attitudes. KLIMPA has a unique, fresh and cheeky style that gets an obviously handmade look through a mix of stop motion and 2D animation. Max and Robert love to experiment with new styles and all sorts of materials to create klimpastic audiovisual worlds.
In addition to the successful work on commercials, Max und Robert create independent short films such as „ISLAND“ and „WIND“ that have already won numerous awards at film festivals all over the world. KLIMPA is located in Berlin and Munich.
